Mardis Gras with The Sparklettes is a fun-filled hour of favorite songs sung Dixieland style, a New Orleans tradition that is almost 300 years old.
We dress in the three colours of Mardis Gras: purple (for justice), gold (for power) and green (for faith). Every audience member is offered a necklace of beads in one of these colours. Then we encourage everyone to wear those beads loud and proud as we celebrate Mardis Gras together!
